Our Philosophy

Ayecha aims to serve the Jewish community by offering Jewish Diversity resources that incorporate a three-tiered focus on

  1. Tzelem Elokim: Reaffirming Jewish Spirituality

  2. Tzelem Kehillah: Reinterpreting Jewish Community

  3. Tzelem Yehudi: Reexamining Jewish Identity

By exploring our relationships and experiences with the religious foundation of Judaism, the cultural history of Judaism and Jewish identity itself, we believe we can support the Jewish community in addressing the issue of Jewish diversity on a deep and lasting level.

Education, Advocacy and Support for Jewish Diversity in the United States.

Ayecha utilizes training, curricula, and programming to increase Jewish Diversity awareness, and simultaneously supports, strengthens, and advocates for Jews of Color and multi-racial families in the United States.

 "Ayecha": Where Do You Stand?

Jewish tradition teaches that the existential question “Ayecha” “Where do you stand?” was first posed by God to Adam in the Garden of Eden, to facilitate his introspection on the unique role and purpose he had within the Universe.  Ayecha programs provide “safe space” for introspection and growth in appreciating commonalties and differences among Jews and building stronger, more vibrant, Jewish relationships and communities.

Through Ayecha programs, we embrace the question “Who is a Jew?” as an opportunity to explore the depth and substance of Jewish identity: Who is included? Who is excluded? Is there a place for YOU in the Jewish community?

Ayecha believes there is.  With each resource, workshop and program we offer, we create a place for Jews to experience Jewish diversity by coming together, fostering community, and reaching out to the larger Jewish population.

Facilitating Introspection…

Across a wide spectrum of Jewish identity and affiliation, Ayecha consultation services help to resolve the conflict between aging stereotypes and modern realities within the Jewish community so that when faced with the question “Where Do You Stand?” with integrity, we can answer, “We Stand Together.”

From the Classroom to the Board Room…

Ayecha offers quality educational resources for learning, teaching, and building initiatives around Jewish Diversity.

Widening the Lens…

Ayecha trainings and programs assist rabbis, educators, students, and outreach professionals in utilizing a diversity lens to service a wider and more vibrant Jewish community.

Building Better Community…

Across the communal spectrum, Ayecha programs succeed in bringing thousands of Jews together to experience the warmth and beauty of a racially and culturally enriched Jewish community.

By bringing an Ayecha program to your organization, you provide your community with an invaluable opportunity to think strategically about inclusion and the benefits of embracing our diversity!
